With this exhibition, Caroline de Lannoy positions painting in an expanded field, treating the entire environment as part of the composition. She embraces processes, installations, and conceptual approaches that emphasise context and interaction. Responding to the specific characteristics of La Verrière – Hermès gallery space, her small paintings are spread across the architectural surfaces creating an immersive environment. She demonstrates how painting can become a site-specific installation.

In her painting titled ‘Murmurations’, Caroline de Lannoy blends sensory interplay of colour, line and texture with meticulous detail and monochromatic tones.
